Andrea Froncillo is a San-Francisco-based executive chef at several of the city's hottest restaurants, including Boboquivari's steakhouse, the Dead Fish, and the recently re-opened Franciscan on Fisherman's Wharf.

Andrea was born in a small seaside town outside of Naples, Italy. He was taught to cook by his “Nonna”, who passed on her passion for life to her grandson. Their early experiments in the kitchen made Andrea appreciate the sensuality of texture, presentation and fragrance. Andrea’s extensive travels around the world expanded his repertoire to include a wide range of flavors and presentations, which he has used with great success in the restaurant business.

His passion is the romance of food.
